MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION
Music video production is where Bob began his filmmaking & video production career, working as a cameraman in the 70's on pop promos for Queen, Kate Bush, The Clash, Judas Priest and Killing Joke. In '74 Lesley was working on Ken Russell's Rock Opera 'Tommy' and met Bob, who was filming a documentary on Russell, the very day that Ken burnt South Parade Pier down. The conflagration began when huge arc lights set fire to blackout cloths hung outside the windows of the wooden pier. Lesley was inside at the time!
Together, their early claim to fame is to have shot the notorious footage used in the Queen 'Bicycle Race' promo - which was very quickly banned. Picture the scene, with Lesley assisting, filming 50 or so naked ladies riding bikes round a south London race track ... doesn't bare thinking about!
Jaimes Ede joined the company in 2004 to work as cameraman and editor. He started his own music video production company in 2006 called gobomojo.tv.
