COMMERCIALS PRODUCTION

Low cost TV commercials can be very effective if you employ a good production company. But, commercials production involves more than creative and technical skills. Just as important is careful liaison with the Broadcast Advertising Clearance Center for script, voice, music copyright clearance and final version approval. Producers also need a clear understanding of the strict technical compliance that broadcasters require for trouble free transmission.

We present three examples of low cost commercials: CONKERS (the National Forest visitor center in the midlands) regularly advertises with Central TV. Ads are aimed at young children, their parents and grandparents.

THE ROYAL MARINES MUSEUM in Portsmouth commissioned us to make a cinema commercial to advertise a special event - Face To Face With The Past. We shot on high quality Digibeta video rather than film and up-converted to 35mm film for theatrical distribution. The ad was aimed primarily at parents with young children. In Portsmouth the ad was screened at the premier of Pearl Harbour.

MEADOW FARM NURSERY commissioned us to produce a series of four 30-second commercials for Tesco TV - the retailer's Out of Home TV service. These are running in the Portsmouth North Harbour store. The ads are voiced by Ben Glover, Power FM DJ and aimed at anyone into gardening!
